When investigating structures where paranormal anomalies have taken place one should rule out the possibility of “jacking up”. The term “jacking up” is used to describe the natural movement of structures caused by the movement of underground waterways. This “jacking up” can be caused in areas not ever before plagued by earthquakes. Historically normal underground water reservoirs can change sometimes suddenly creating a settling in the earth moving structures on the surface even large houses. String Levels are great to have on haunted house investigations and should be in every ghost hunters tool kit!
