UPDATE: We have moved away from inventory and manufacture based products on our website GetGhostGear.com.  Sadly it was a choice of necessity. After being in business for over a decade and the first of it's kind in the world we had two choices.  Either close for good, or move towards an affiliate and referral based product line.  After looking at the other paranormal investigating equipment outfitter stores, and the proliferation of 'ghost hunting' stores following in our footsteps, we decided there was still much good we could do. 

We sincerely, hope that our past and loyal customer will continue to be served well by our product line and information.  We will still be upholding all warranties, servicing of equipment, and returns from our original inventoried orders should anything along those lines be needed.

Return Policy:

We back the products that you purchase from GetGhostGear.com with a money back guarantee.  Whatever you purchase, GetGhostGear.com is here to back it up 24 hours a day 7 days a week for years to come, in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase.  We offer a 7 day no questions asked return policy.  Simply contact GetGhostGear.com within seven days from when we have records that you received your purchase for return instructions.  You MUST contact GetGhostGear.com for a 'Return Authorization Number' before sending anything back.  Once GetGhostGear.com receives the product(s) back in original condition including manuals, forms, batteries and accessories where applicable you will be made a full refund.  At this time all return shipping costs for the customer are non-refundable and are the customer's sole responsibility unless error is the result of GetGhostGear.com.  We are happy to make good on any mistakes that could occur in the future. 

 

Damaged Merchandise:
Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We cannot be responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.  We do like to keep records of these instances so we may better serve you the customer in the future by using a responsible freight carrier.  If you feel so inclined let us know of any claims filled with the freight carrier. 

 

Manufactures Defects:
If a product appears to have a manufactures defect, it is necessary for you to contact GetGhostGear.com WITHIN the warranty period. DO NOT return items to us without first contacting to receive instructions. If an item is to be returned to us due to manufactures defect, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number. Failing to receive a Return Authorization number before returning your package may result in the mislaying of your returned material due to the fact that there are no systems possible for tracking these packages at the warehouse.  No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the box.  All products returned to GetGhostGear.com in the correct manor listed above and that are recognized as in warranty may be deemed suitable for repair or replacement by GetGhostGear.com.  The length of time for repair or replacement of warrantee products may be at the discretion of GetGhostGear.com as per supply of parts/products allows (i.e. possible discontinued or under manufactured products).  
ALL manufacture defects are deemed such by GetGhostGear.com and or manufacturer.    

 

Return Merchandise Policy:
Permission for any return merchandise must be secured from our return department. For questions about returning merchandise please use GetGhostGear.com's Contact Us page to submit a request to our Return Department. The return of non-defective merchandise when authorized may incur a 20% re-stocking fee. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written on the box.

 

After a return is authorized by our return department:
1. Address the item to the address given to you by our return department.
2. Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box.
3. Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We are NOT liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.
We will notify you via phone, mail, or e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 14 to 21 business days (weekends excluded) of our receiving your return. Please note that we can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error.

Product:

Most orders are shipped within 24 hours of being placed by you on our website.  Some pieces of equipment are shipped directly from the manufacturer in an attempt to continually bring you the highest cost savings.  Some of these products do take 7-10 business days (weekends excluded) to ship.  Some orders that contain modified product such as our popular EMF meters with LEDs and so forth can take additional days to finish your specific meter requests.  Rest assured that the good folks at GetGhostGear.com know what it's like waiting for that new "toy" to arrive and we will be doing everything to make sure we get it to you in great condition within the shortest time possible. 

 

Charges:

Shipping fees are calculated on a sliding scale based on the total dollar amount of your purchase. We've adopted this system so that it would be easy to understand and be friendly to both our retail and wholesale customers. All shipping fees will be displayed within your shopping cart upon checkout however please note those prices are for the continental Americas 49 states (sorry Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and so on, the extra distance and steps incur extra charges).  

GetGhostGear.com will be more than happy to ship products that are allowed overseas, and to foreign countries when appropriate procedures are followed.  We have found the easiest way to accomplish a successful order process is to have the international customers contact us here at GetGhostGear.com prior to purchasing the product in our online shopping cart.  Please send an Email request to 'CustomerService@GetGhostGear.com' including the following prior to purchasing through GetGhostGear.com:

International:

GetGhostGear.com will be more than happy to ship products that are allowed overseas, and to foreign countries when appropriate procedures are followed.  We have found the easiest way to accomplish a successful order process is to have the international customers contact us here at GetGhostGear.com prior to purchasing the product in our online shopping cart.  Please send an Email request to 'CustomerService@GetGhostGear.com' including the following prior to purchasing through GetGhostGear.com:

1. Product(s) desired

2. Full ship to address

3. Any other special requirements (i.e. preferred shipping carrier etc)

GetGhostGear.com will be more than happy to ship products that are allowed overseas, and to foreign countries but added shipping charges will then apply at the then present rate.  You will be notified via e-mail (phone if your without an e-mail address) of your added shipping costs if any and be given the opportunity to cancel the order before charged (we accomplish this by asking you reply to our shipping quote with your authorization for the added costs to be billed to your credit card).  This may all seem confusing however it allows GetGhostGear.com to make available our great products to the world.  Product request(s) that fall under the jurisdiction of the United States "Home Land Security Act".  This "Act" regulates the sale of items in the requested order as the product(s) is(are) now regulated by this new act.  Once an international order is received we actively work to fulfill by taking the appropriate steps required when your order came in with the United States Commerce Department Bureau of Industry and Security.  This part of the order process is an addition to ALL international orders placed with any company currently based in the United States and GetGhostGear.com Enterprises is no exception. 

What this process means to you?  Nothing is currently needed from you to continue this process.  Once our request to fulfill your order is given the okay from the appropriate U.S. departments we will ship your order out immediately.  The requests with correct U.S. Departments needed to fulfill international orders typically takes 72hours however their hours are unfortunately Monday-Friday.  We hope this process is acceptable as it is the only one currently in place since the new U.S. policies and we have placed what we feel are the appropriate procedures and follow a strict process to ensure things flow as efficiently as possible.  If this time frame and procedure as described here are not desirable please do not place your order as it does cost us additional monies to charge back money to credit cards.  If our request with the appropriate U.S. Departments fail and are denied the option to fill your order we will at that time notify you and refund your money back to your payment method, no penalties.
